In accordance with Toyota’s principle of continuous improvement and the focus on meeting the changing customer demands, the Fortuner has undergone a complete model. The New Generation Fortuner was recently introduced unto the Ghanaian with the tagline ‘A Step Above’. The outdooring event which took place in the Toyota Ghana Company Limited (TGCL) showroom, witnessed an array of Toyota’s customers, businessmen, government officials, corporate entities and individuals.
In a welcome address, the managing director of TGCL, Mr. Tetsuya Suematsu revealed that since the introduction of the Fortuner, it has globally experienced a lot of sales success for its impressive quality, durability, reliability and all-terrain capability. “In Ghana, we can also confirm the increase in patronage as it is loved for its versatility, low maintenance and fuel consumption with a higher resale value” he disclosed.
In a presentation made by the National Sales & Marketing Manager of TGCL, Mr. Andrew Lamptey on the new Fortuner, he indicated that the Fortuner has been made more attractive with enhanced stylish interior and exterior features. Its suspension has been reinforced to improve on the drive comfort on all terrains. Its safety features has been improved.
The special guests who graced the event were the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Kaoru Yoshimura and the Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Ghana Industries, Mr. Seth Twum Akwaboah. They all lauded Toyota for its continuous development of ‘cutting edge and state-of-the-art designs of its vehicles, improved customer comfort, safety and above all satisfaction.
The vehicle was formally unveiled by the Managing Director of Toyota Ghana, Mr. Tetsuya Suematsu, The Executive Director of Toyota Ghana, Dr. Eric Dako together with the special guests.
Customers expressed their delight with loud applauses and very positive comments. These positive comments indicates that customers were convinced the New Generation Fortuner has value and prestige that goes beyond expectations.
