In order to meet the changing trends and demands of customers, Toyota Motor Corporation has introduced the all new IMV Hilux. This new Hilux is designed to be tough and yet comfortable to suit all driving terrains. Toyota Ghana Company Limited recently launched the vehicle at the State House Forecourt, which brought together guests from all works of life.
In welcoming guest officially to the launch, Mr. Tetsuya Suematsu, Managing Director of Toyota Ghana said, the new IMV Hilux, being launched was an improved model in terms of toughness and performance. This informed the development of its new design concept phrase "A New Era for Pick-up; Comfortably tough".
He noted that the new design has the core values of durability and reliability that the Toyota brand is well known for. Adding that it is a new-generation pick-up which has become the new benchmark for the pick-up category by giving it an SUV-like feel in terms of drive comfort and unmatched reliability.
Mr. Suematsu took the opportunity to introduce three remarkable awards received from Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan. He dedicated these awards to its cherished customers, without whom they would not have come this far. These awards are:

In a presentation made by the National Sales and Marketing Manager, Mr. Andrew Lamptey stressed on the emotional but yet tough aspect of the new model. It has a sleek front and rear design. A side design with lines that command attention and an elegant interior that will make the user feel comfortable even in the harshest terrain. That notwithstanding, the vehicle has the ability to sustain prolonged use with no breakdowns.
He intimated that the development concept had a universal focus, incorporating global feedback to satisfy customers the world over and maintain its status as the toughest pick-up. He said the current Hilux model is known to be tough but the newly introduced Hilux is extra tough and yet comfortable with more drive coziness.
