The Land Cruiser 70
is probably the toughest member of the famous Land Cruiser
family. Whichever Land Cruiser 70 you choose, you get
a rugged 4x4 vehicle that revels in hard work.
The spacious cabin is a comfortable environment that
lets you concentrate on driving. The driver's seat is
firmly supportive, covered in fabric with quality touches,
and designed to keep your knees and arms relaxed. Legroom
is ample, allowing comfortable pedal operation. Cockpit
meters are positioned to allow reading at a glance, while
the steering wheel, shift lever and all switches are placed
within easy reach for convenient operation. The driver
as a result can drive comfortably, with maximum control
and minimal body movement.
Toyota approached safety from two aspects: active and
passive. Active safety measures include ergonomic features
such as strategically placed switches and steering wheel,
and exceptionally good visibility all around. Passive
safety features start with a crash safety body. In the
event of an accident, this design effectively absorbs
and disperses impact energy before it reaches the cabin.
In addition, pillars, floor members and roof panel are
reinforced for solid strength.
