Toyota
Ghana Company Ltd. has appointed Mr. Eric Dako Yeboah as the
new Deputy General Manager for Sales and Marketing, effective
1st January, 2007.
Mr Darko has extensive working experience in engineering, quality
systems, sales and marketing acquired over 12 years in the field
of work.
Until his appointment, Mr Dako was the Marketing Manager for
Toyota Ghana, after his promotion in 2003 from the position
of Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager with the responsibility
of conducting competitor strategy analysis and providing strategy
for vehicle sales. He joined Toyota Ghana in January 2002.
Before then, he worked with the Ghana Standards Board for eight
years in various capacities. In 2001, he joined their Physical
Science Division as the Internal Quality Auditor. In this capacity,
he handled the total quality management system with oversight
responsibility for waste reduction, product improvement and
customer satisfaction.
He had prior to this position held the scientific officer portfolio
in 1997 at the Standards and Specification Division, working
for the elaboration of engineering standards. Additionally,
he was a coordinating member (team leader) for the establishment
of ISO 9000 total quality system, certification and also establishing
standards for engineering design and manufacturing products.
Mr. Dako has thus had an enviable record in the field of work
since graduating as a Mechanical Engineer in 1992 from the Kwame
Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
After working for a while, he enrolled at the University of
Ghana in 1999 at the school of Administration and graduated
in 2001 with masters degree in business administration (marketing)
option.
He has a son.
