Toyota Ghana Company Limited has accredited Ansuare Company
Limited, an automobile mechanical workshop located at Lamashegu,
an industrial area at Tamale in the Northern Region as an authorized
service shop to sell Toyota genuine parts and carry out maintenance
services on Toyota vehicles in accordance with Toyota standards.
The
official recognition was characterized by a colourful ceremony
which was attended by officials of corporate institutions who
patronize Toyota vehicles and some individual users of Toyota
products located at the upper and middle belt of the country.
Addressing participants at the ceremony, the Managing Director
and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Ghana Limited, Mr. Masato
Kimata underscored various reasons that necessitated his Company
to certify Ansuare Company Limited to carry out maintenance
services on Toyota vehicles. He said due to the growth of the
Company and its customer base, many of the vehicles had found
their way in the three Northern Regions. This is not surprising,
according to him, as Toyota vehicles were built to suit the
northern terrain of the country.
Mr Kimata said the challenge however, was proper servicing
of the vehicles when they were due; “to access professional
service, owners of the vehicles have to travel long distances
and this increases the mileage and sometimes incurring fatalities
in the process. Today, I am pleased to say that this phenomenon
is a thing of the past. We have brought our services to your
doorstep”, he stressed.
The Managing Director of Toyota Ghana Limited was of the belief
that customers would be satisfied with the services that would
be provided by the staff of Ansuare Company Limited because
they have undergone the required intensive training to acquire
the requisite skills and professionalism that is required to
provide Toyota Standard Service.
He therefore entreated Ansuare Company Limited to uphold the
standard that they have come to be associated with and never
compromise on quality and excellent customer service.
Outlining the Toyota Ghana service shop concept and plan, the
National Spare Parts Manager, Mr Jacob Pimpong said TGCL intends
to bring services closer to its cherished customers, in all
the ten regions of Ghana and develop the managerial capacity
of Toyota Ghana Authorised Service Shops (TGASS) “the
Toyota way”. Mr Pimpong added that Toyota would also offer
technical advice and ensure improved facility of TGASS shops
in order to satisfy Toyota customers where ever they might be
as well as training technicians adequately in order to offer
quality service to all Toyota customers.
He stated further that the successful execution of these plans
would afford Toyota Ghana the opportunity to hear most of the
individual voices of Toyota users on how the product is doing
through the TGAS Shops. He said these would be achieved through
the field technical reports from these TGASS shops and customer
concerns. Mr Pimpong disclosed that Toyota Ghana had visited
all the other regions to identify and select potential candidates
for future authorization as TGASS.
The Managing Director of Ansuare Company Limited, MrAmin Ibrahim,
in his welcome address gave a brief history of his Company.
He said his company had been working with Toyota Ghana since
1987. According to him, Ansuary Company started with the then
Ghamot Ghana Limited and continued when Toyota Ghana took over.
He expressed his gratitude to Toyota Ghana Limited for the accreditation
to operate on their behalf and promised to continue to offer
quality service to his customers in the three Northern Regions.
Mr Ibrahim commended his reliable customers and reaffirmed
customers’ commitment to continue to put them in business.
