MD Kimata Donating His
Blood |
As part of activities making its 10th Anniversary, Toyota Ghana
Co. Ltd has organised a blood donation exercise. The programme
was used held on the 1st of April, 2008 at the Head Office Training
School.
The blood was donated to the Kaneshie Poly Clinic in collaboration
with the Ridge Hospital in Accra. About a 100 people comprising
staff, customers and the general public participated in the
exercise.
Commenting on the event, the MD, Mr. Masato Kimata said “Toyota
Ghana is well known for giving back to society especially in
cash. However, it is time to do so in kind.” He urged
all well meaning Ghanaians to patronize blood donations whenever
or wherever such exercises are undertaken as blood saves lives.
The Medical Officer-in-charge of the Kaneshie Poly Clinic,
Dr. Allotey Babington appealed to the general public to voluntarily
walk into any blood bank and make a donation as patriotic citizens
and not wait for such organised occasions. (See pictures below).
