Toyota Ghana has for the first time since its inception in
1998, opened its doors to its customers and business partners
at an impressive ceremony organised on the 3RD OF May 2008 at
the Head Office.
This was done to showcase what distinguishes them from the
competition and to demystify the perception that our products
and services are expensive. The Open Day formed part of the
Company’s planned activities in celebration of its 10th
anniversary.
The event offered customers a window of opportunity to see
and experience at first hand our range of vehicles, state-of-the-art
equipment at the mechanical workshop, the Body & Paint workshop,
the training facilities, modern, well-stocked spare parts warehouse,
e.t.c.
Speaking at the programme, the MD, Mr. Masato Kimata stated
that the programme will allow the company to improve its corporate
image and receive feedback from its clients.
The ceremony was also used to launch the Toyota Spare Parts
Seasonal Anti-counterfeit Campaign. The Spare Parts Manager,
Mr. J. A Pimpong, highlighting the campaign, said since this
year marks the company’s anniversary, the campaign, which
will last until May 31st, 2008, will offer a 15 percent discount
on all genuine wipers and bulbs as these are critical to all
motorists especially during the rainy season. He also took the
opportunity to explain the difference between genuine and non-genuine
parts to the participants. The pictures are presented below.
