AThe 2009 Toyota Ghana Garage Seminar took place at the Total Ghana Training School – Head Office on the 26th February 2009. The one day seminar was organized to strengthen our relationship with our recognized garage operators, promote the sale of genuine Toyota spare parts and also to offer them a platform to share their concerns with us.
In his introductory remarks, the GM Accra Operations, Mr. Eric Dako welcomed guests and implored them to actively participate to make the seminar as interactive as possible. He intimated that the Toyota Ghana Garages seminar has come to stay and become an important event on the company’s annual events calendar, as well as an integral part of the anti-counterfeit campaign b the Spare Parts Department.
The CEO of Toyota Ghana, Mr. Masato Kimata, thanked the garages for their loyalty in the purchase of genuine Toyota parts. He also assured them of Toyota’s unflinching assistance in terms of credit facility. He appreciated their impressive attendance and noted it as an improvement over last year’s.
At the conference, awards were given to deserving garages in recognition of their high patronage of Toyota genuine parts. The topmost award, which is gold, was won by Brians Motors (Tema).
Commenting on the whole seminar, the participants were very impressed with the whole organization, especially the interactive nature of it and expressed gratitude to Toyota Ghana for acknowledgement accorded them.
