For the first time since the inception of Toyota Ghana, an executive member of Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) Japan, Mr. Inoue, visited Ghana.
Mr. Hisayuki Inoue, TMC Managing Officer for Europe and Africa operations, paid a two-day working visit to Toyota Ghana to oversee its operations, share with us best practices from Europe and other African countries, assess our market terrain and offer the necessary support to further improve our operations.
Whilst here, Mr. Inoue presented Toyota Ghana with several Awards from TMC for its performance in 2008. These are Customer Service Excellence Award, Africa FTR Prescription (AFP) Award, Exceptional Marketing Performance Award (Gold category) and another Award for achieving the Highest Sales Record.
He took the opportunity to visit competitor facilities to familiarize himself with the Ghanaian automobile industry.
