Toyota Ghana Company Limited (TGCL) has always believed in not only satisfying the customer by providing a good vehicle life experience but also catering for their well being. In line with this, TGCL launched a campaign to educate the public on the use of genuine wiper blades and bulbs during the rainy season. The campaign was launched on 11th May 2009.
In her welcome address, the HR Manager, Mrs. Dinah Caverson, expressed her gratitude to the press for honoring the invitation. She also encouraged the public to take advantage of this promotion and ensure that genuine Toyota wiper blades and bulbs are fixed on their Toyota vehicles to guarantee clearer vision when driving through the rains this season.
In his presentation, Mr. Jacob Pimpong National Parts Manager, said the incursion of counterfeit parts into the Ghanaian market is increasing each day. People patronize these counterfeits parts because the producers of these fake parts are so advanced that it is very difficult to differentiate imitation parts from the genuine parts by their look. He advised the public to purchase genuine spare parts to reduce the rate of accidents on our roads and also to prolong the lives of their vehicle.
The After Sales General Manager, Mr. Mikio Ohashi, launching the campaign on behalf of the MD of TGCL, implored the public to patronize genuine spare parts to safeguard their safety and help reduce road accidents. He entreated the media to create further awareness of the campaign and inform the public about the 10-15% discount given on the purchase of wiper blades and bulbs during this rainy season.
The press launch of this year’s Spare Parts seasonal campaign was well attended by many press houses. The campaign is running till the end of July.
