Toyota Ghana Tema Branch....

As a means of giving customers total satisfaction and bringing our services closer to their doorsteps, Toyota Ghana opened a new branch in Tema to save customers in Tema and its environs the time and stress of traveling all the way to Accra to access our quality service.
The Toyota Avensis which has undergone a total model change was also launched as part of the programme.
In his welcome address, the MD of Toyota Ghana, Mr. Masato Kimata expressed his appreciation to all the dignitaries and loyal customers for their continuous loyalty to Toyota Ghana and also for choosing to be part of the day’s celebration. He intimated that the growth in sales figures from 300 units in 1998 when the company was incorporated to the present sales of over 3000 units has made the need for the expansion of facilities critical to enable the company meet the service requirements of the ever increasing customer base of corporate bodies and individuals in Tema and beyond.
The Vice President, H. E. Mr. John Dramani Mahama, who was represented by the Minister of Transport, Mr. Mike Allen Hammah, commissioned the new Branch and launched the All New Avensis. In his speech, he indicated that the government is committed to the development of the transport sector to ensure efficiency. He commended Toyota Ghana for building a Central Spare Parts Depot as part of the branch, pointing out that this gives owners peace of mind because of the knowledge that genuine parts are available to keep their vehicles always running.
The Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, Mr. Keiichi Katakami, whose speech was read on his behalf by Mr. Yutaka Nakamura, expressed his delight for being part of this great ceremony and wished Toyota Ghana the best in all its endeavours.
Mr. Hiroshi Hisatome, General Manager of Toyota Motor Corporation, South Africa, congratulated Toyota Ghana for its performance and also for opening of a new branch even in this global crisis.
In his presentation, the Tema Branch Manager, Mr. Adam Tettey Larbie, elaborated on the Tema facility. He stated that the branch has a well equipped workshop, an enormous central parts depot that can stock over 12,000 line items, a shuttle bus to convey customers in and out of the premises, well trained personnel etc. He assured customers of the same superior quality service that they are accustomed to in Accra and the other branches.
Speaking on the All New Avensis, the GM for Sales and Marketing, Mr. Eric Dako, said the New Avensis comes with a sophisticated upholstery, new and improved wiper design, roomy cabin, is more stylish, has a trunk with trunk-through for long loads, excellent driving performance and fuel efficiency, etc to give customers the maximum comfort possible.
Also present at the ceremony were a representative from Marubeni Corporation (owners of Toyota Ghana), the paramount chief of Kpone and many of the chief tans of the Ghanaian industrial sector.
