Toyota Ghana Co. Ltd (TGCL) has once again organized a one day seminar for some selected Garages as part of efforts towards strengthening its relationship with its recognized Garage operators and also to promote the use of genuine spare parts. This year’s seminar was dubbed ‘Being in business and winning business”.
Welcoming the participants to the seminar, the GM, Accra Operations, Mr. Eric Dako, thanked them for honouring the invitation. He encouraged them to participate actively in the discussion since the strategy for this 2010 seminar is quite different from that of last year and also that it would be of immense benefit to them.
In his speech, the MD, Mr. Masato Kimata, thanked the Garage operators for their continuous patronage of genuine parts and their loyalty to Toyota Ghana. He implored them to never compromise on quality in the course of their business. This, he said, will make them win more customers and retain them as well.
As part of activities for the seminar, the participants were divided into four groups with leaders. Each group was given a particular topic for discussion. The outcome of the discussion was very fruitful and informative. Through this medium, the Garage operators were able to share best practices and make constructive suggestions to the Management of Toyota Ghana. In turn, TGCL got to know what the operators were going through and their expectations.
At the end of the programme, deserving Garage operators were awarded in recognition of their high patronage of genuine Toyota parts with the gold award going to Mombas Motors and a special award to Brian Motors for its consistent loyalty and high level of performance.
