Toyota Ghana has organized this year’s annual Golf Tournament for its mining customers in the Tarkwa environs. The Tournament, which came off at the Damang Golf course on the 25th of September 2011, is aimed at strengthening Toyota’s relationship with the Captains in the mining industry and also acknowledge their contribution to the company’s growth.
In all about 55 amateur golfers participated in the game. At the end of the tournament, the overall winners received Golf Trophies whilst winners of the longest drive and closest to the pin were awarded with various prizes. There was a raffle draw for the rest of the prizes, which included double door fridges, table top fridges, 32” LCD TVs, home theater sets, golf bags, etc.
Making a donation of GH¢1500 to the Damang Golf Club, the Managing Director of Toyota Ghana, Mr. Takahiko Takabayashi, assured the miners of Toyota Ghana’s continuous support in providing quality service and reliable vehicles suitable for their harsh terrain to help them in their operations.
