Toyota Ghana has engaged its customers again at Alisa Hotel, in Accra, for the 2011 Toyota Users’ Conference. The conference, which was dubbed “Best Product, Best Service, Satisfied Customer” is aimed at educating customers on the value of Toyota products and services, and afford them the opportunity to share ideas for a mutually beneficial relationship.
The Managing Director of Toyota Ghana, Mr. Takahiko Takabayashi, in his welcome address said “Over the years, we have focused on the continuous improvement of Customer Satisfaction, but as customer demands, environmental and technological conditions change, there is the need to meet and discuss these issues to enable us modify our way of doing business for our mutual benefit”. He entreated customers to feel at ease to send their grievances to the company, as that serves as a guide in decision making.
As part of the day’s event, participants were educated on quality improvement not only on models but also in management processes, systems and procedures; credit facility procedures, after sales service operations, genuine and counterfeit parts and customer service activities.
Mr. Eric Dako, General Manager Operations, announced in his presentation, a special discount offer on the Toyota Yaris and Prado. He said the Yaris has been reduced from US$22,900 to between US$21,800 to US$21,500 depending on credit and cash payment respectively. The Prado has also been slashed from US$64,350 to US$61,625 for credit and US$59,986 for cash. The promotion also included a 30% discount for body spray, body care and polishing for both Toyota and non-Toyota vehicles from July to September 2011.
Customers fully utilized the forum to elicit immediate feedback to their concerns and expressed their appreciation to the Company for creating such a relevant platform.
