16TH TOYOTA DREAM CAR ART CONTEST

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

At the end of the 16th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, a total of 1,576 artworks were received nationwide. These artworks have been shortlisted to the best 9, considering (concept, innovation, and artistic impression).

These were comprised of 3 winners from each of the 3 categories.

Three other artworks received special awards: the Mobility for All Award, Woki-Doki Award and Engineering Award.

Below are the names of the top 9 winners whose artworks will represent Ghana at the World Contest in Japan.

Under 8 years category

8 to 11 years category

  • Silver winner, Joannah Paulynn Immanuel, Toyota Car of Peace, Prosperity and Integrity
  • Bronze winner, Prabhreet Grewal, >Toyota Water Car

12 to 15 years category

  • Gold winner, Rohit Kailash Godhwani, FLYDRONE AK47 car
  • Silver winner, Grace Douinien Bado, Road Fixer
  • Bronze winner, Jonathan Dhanraj Joseph Immaunel, Toyota Heavenly Haven and Healing Hope

The contest is open to all children living in Ghana who are below 16 years old. There 3 categories

Category 1 : Under 8 years old

Category 2 : 8 – 11 years old

Category 3 : 12 – 15 years old

An A3 size paper is required and you can use any medium you like – pencils, crayons, paint – to create your dream car. Do not forget to add a background, to help us imagine what your dream car would look like in its environment. Take note, computer generated artworks are also acceptable.

Entries for the 16th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest are open from now up until 10 February 2023.

At Toyota, we believe that children are full of creative extraordinary dreams that can become a reality. A Dream Car is how the child sees his or her future car to be. Think of a challenge in your society and draw a car to solve the challenge. Be creative and imagine what your dream car would be and what you would want the car to do. The idea behind your car must stimulate sympathy, resonance and emotion.

Shortlisted participants will receive Toyota Dream Car Art Contest branded souvenirs. The 9 lucky winners selected from the 3 categories will be presented with tablets and plaques. Their artworks will be entered into the World Contest.

If an artwork from Ghana wins at the World Contest, the winner will win a fully paid trip to Japan to attend the World Contest with a parent or guardian. There is also a prize money award for special categories. This is $5,000 for the winner and $10,000 for the winner s school, intended to be used for educational purposes .

Each artwork must have an entry form filled and attached to the back of the drawing with an adhesive. Artworks can be submitted at any of our Branches in Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tarkwa and Tamale. Alternatively you can submit a scanned copy of artwork and entry form (high resolution) to [email protected] on or before 10 February 2023.
